Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rafal Kozak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Philo Beddoe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kozak comes to the cage accompanied by Kazik 12 groszy. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rafal Kozak!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Philo Beddoe!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Patrick Alders and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beddoe defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Kozak.
Kozak looks to clinch
and Beddoe counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.


It looks like Rafal Kozak has been cut.
A big right from Kozak misses.
Beddoe punishes Kozak's body with a nice straight punch.
Kozak tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Beddoe was well out of range. Poor timing from Kozak.

Beddoe gets tackled into the cage by Kozak. Kozak maintains the clinch.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Beddoe.
Kozak with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Kozak wants to take the fight to the mat but Beddoe manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Rafal Kozak wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Kozak throws a lazy right hand but Beddoe sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Kozak tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Beddoe manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Kozak fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Kozak throws a series of strikes that have Beddoe backpedaling.
Beddoe takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

A looping hook to the body misses from Kozak. Beddoe does a little dance to reset his feet.

Kozak fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Beddoe looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Kozak connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Beddoe momentarily.

Beddoe loads up on a big right hand but Kozak slips the punch.

Kozak wants to clinch up but Beddoe keeps it at a distance.
Kozak doesn't manage to clinch there - Beddoe circles away.
Good exchange - Kozak coming out on top.
Beddoe throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kozak.
Kozak shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Beddoe but Beddoe pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Beddoe is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Kozak is controlling him.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That was a close second round but I would say that Rafal Kozak will probably get the nod.

Jeez, Rafal Kozak's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

Kozak drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Kozak's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Kozak might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Beddoe controls Kozak momentarily but Kozak frees himself.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Beddoe can do anything to dispel that myth.

Kozak drops back looking for a leg! Beddoe is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Beddoe manages to kick Kozak off! Kozak jumps back into Beddoe's guard.
Beddoe wants to sweep but no luck.

Kozak working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Beddoe really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kozak. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Kozak distracts Beddoe with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kozak stands up over Beddoe, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Kozak has hold of Beddoe's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Beddoe seems comfortable defending it but Kozak has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Beddoe is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Beddoe is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Kozak couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Rafal Kozak!
After the fight, Rafal Kozak was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
