The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Konrad is trying to defend but Johnson finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Cole Konrad's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

After winning the bout, Nicholas Johnson thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
