Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roman Silnov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leo Jhon Cureg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silnov is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Roman Silnov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Valeri Chadov and Vladimir Khabensky.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Silnov gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Cureg to score an easy takedown into full guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Silnov is breathing heavily.
Cureg stands up over Silnov, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Silnov can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Cureg controls the pace.

Silnov is working an open guard so Cureg takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Cureg throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Silnov tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Cureg is in Silnov's guard.
Cureg is pushing down on Silnov's leg trying to pass to half guard. Silnov is fighting to maintain full guard but Cureg has managed to sneak the leg through.
Silnov is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Cureg scores with a couple of nice shots.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Silnov has hold of Cureg's hands but Cureg slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Silnov on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

Cureg stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Silnov to get to his feet.

Cureg shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Cureg stalling.
Cureg uses his free foot to push down on Silnov's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Silnov.
Cureg is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Silnov can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Cureg cracks Silnov with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Cureg lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Silnov is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
BOOM! Cureg connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Oh Silnov is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Cureg unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Silnov wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Cureg celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
