Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Havas Funkyama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fedja Emelianenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good shot there by Emelianenko.
Emelianenko uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Funkyama.
Funkyama tries to land a front kick but Emelianenko steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Funkyama throws a leg kick which misses Emelianenko's front leg but catches the back leg as Emelianenko tries to avoid it.
Funkyama throws a body kick that misses.
Emelianenko fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Funkyama dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Emelianenko. That did some damage!
Emelianenko tries to clinch but Funkyama is having none of it.
Emelianenko shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Funkyama as he jumps to the side.
Fedja Emelianenko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Emelianenko takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

It looks like Fedja Emelianenko has been cut.
Emelianenko on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Funkyama. Funkyama obviously looking to wear him down.

Funkyama pushes Emelianenko away with a front kick.
Funkyama throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Emelianenko stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Funkyama scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Funkyama throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Emelianenko's head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Emelianenko gets hit by the mother of all head kicks and drops to the canvas in a crumpled heap! Woooow, the Internet is going to be talking about this one for weeks!
