Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kellen Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jan Streburg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smith comes to the cage accompanied by Turn My Swag On. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kellen Smith! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jan Streburg! The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Sergei Dronov and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Smith swats away the attempt to clinch by Streburg. Jan Streburg seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Smith tries to clinch but Streburg moves out of range. Streburg tries to clinch but Smith moves away and Smith counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Smith. Smith in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Smith sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Streburg's guard. Smith not landing any meaningful shots this time. Smith is looking to take a break and control but Streburg is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Smith stands up and beckons Streburg to join him on the feet. Smith fails with the takedown.
That's one minute gone in the round. Smith shoots for a double leg takedown but Streburg sprawls well. He's pushed Smith's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Smith tries to clinch there but Streburg circles away.

It looks like Kellen Smith has been cut. Streburg using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Smith has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Smith has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Streburg is trying to keep an underhook but Smith manages to get the takedown into half guard. Smith is breathing heavily. Smith is working for a kimura but Streburg is defending it quite comfortably.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Streburg doesn't manage to clinch there - Smith circles away.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Streburg tries to clinch but fails miserably and Smith counters with a left and a right that stings Streburg. Streburg wants to clinch and Smith counters with a three punch combo that has Streburg backing up. Streburg nods at Smith to acknowledge the strikes. Streburg throws the left hand but Smith avoids the punch easily. Smith shoots in for a double leg but Streburg sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Streburg tries to clinch up but Smith circles away and keeps his distance. Smith fails with a takedown attempt. Smith throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Streburg's waist but Streburg gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Smith off to one side. Smith forces Streburg back against the cage and clinches. Streburg blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Smith tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Streburg smiles and moves away.

Streburg tries to clinch but fails miserably and Smith counters with a nice double leg into side control. Streburg won't be happy with that. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Smith is looking to take a break and control but Streburg is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Smith working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Smith tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Smith goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Streburg has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Smith but great work by Streburg. Streburg is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Smith is looking to reverse the position. Smith regains half guard. Smith is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Streburg's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Streburg's back! Smith has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Streburg's body.

Streburg really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Smith. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Smith lands punches and elbows. Smith lands a shot to the body. Streburg is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Smith.
Even with his hooks in, Smith manages to miss with strikes from the back.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Smith scores with punches to the body. Streburg covering up well and avoiding damage. Smith misses with a punch to the head. Smith throwing wild punches that miss their target. Smith punches the canvas rather than the man.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Streburg is trying to stand up here but Smith is controlling him well. Streburg is not content to let Smith control the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Both fighters are breathing heavily. Smith in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
That's one minute gone in the round. The strikes coming from Smith are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Smith working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Smith wants to control but Streburg is keeping him busy. Smith wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Streburg, who protects the arm well. Streburg is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Smith has just dragged him back down to the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Smith tries for a kimura but Streburg is defending well. Check out the look on Smith's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Smith cracks Streburg with a big elbow. Streburg is trying to escape the position but Smith is controlling the position. Smith misses with the ground and pound. Smith is looking to take a break and control but Streburg is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Smith decides to take the fight back to the feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Streburg doesn't manage to clinch there - Smith circles away.
Streburg tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Smith counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Smith accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Jan Streburg has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Smith pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Streburg is keeping the position for now. Smith throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Smith looking to sit in guard and control but Streburg gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
And that's the end of the fight! Kellen Smith showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Smith, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
