Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tony Danza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maek Houzo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Danza kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Who's the Boss. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

20 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tony Danza!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

23 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Maek Houzo!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Alan Glass and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Danza shoots in for a takedown but Houzo shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Houzo scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Danza lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Houzo has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Houzo and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Danza rushes Houzo and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Danza drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Houzo gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Houzo avoids a wild elbow strike from Danza.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Danza jumps into guard, dragging Houzo to the mat.

A decent looking cross lands there for Danza.
Houzo feints and as Danza raises his hands in defense, Houzo changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Danza wants to sweep but no luck.
Houzo is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Danza controls Houzo momentarily but Houzo frees himself.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Houzo shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Danza as he jumps to the side.
Houzo closes the distance and pushes Danza back into the cage.
With the fighters up against the cage, Danza throws an elbow but misses.
Houzo blocks an elbow strike.
Danza gets through Houzo's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Danza pulls guard effortlessly.
Danza tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Houzo looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

Houzo looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Danza with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Houzo perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!
Houzo wants to clinch up but Danza keeps it at a distance.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Tony Danza.
I think Houzo has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
