The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rabanbarou drops back, looking for a kneebar! Diggler looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Diggler looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Diggler!
Rabanbarou sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Diggler is nestled in close to Rabanbarou, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Rabanbarou has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Diggler is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Rabanbarou.

Diggler shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Rabanbarou eats them both and turns towards Diggler to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
