The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Abbott Jr lands a left and a right that send Crunch crashing to the mat, dazed. Abbott Jr thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Ulisiaz Crunch has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Abbott Jr misses with a wild combination.
David Abbott Jr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Abbott Jr looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Crunch has a takedown stuffed.
Abbott Jr leaves Crunch with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Crunch shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Abbott Jr pinned against the cage. Abbott Jr gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
David Abbott Jr has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ulisiaz Crunch.
Crunch takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

and Abbott Jr counters with a big right hand! Oh Crunch is in trouble here! Abbott Jr follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
