3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rasputin Moon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jack Gerow! The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gerow throws a head kick but Moon moves out of range.
Moon fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Gerow, pushing him back against the cage. Gerow drops down looking for an ankle pick but Moon pulls his leg out and moves away.
Gerow looks for a takedown but Moon sprawls well. Gerow throws the left hand but Moon avoids the punch easily. Moon closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Moon putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Gerow in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. Gerow takes a knee to the side of the body. Gerow looks gassed! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Moon with a knee to the head.
It looks like Jack Gerow has been cut. Moon unloads a knee to the mid-section. Moon lands an elbow that stopped Gerow in his tracks for a moment. Moon has Gerow pressed against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Moon using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.

That has opened up Jack Gerow's cut even more. Moon dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Moon lands a knee to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Gerow tries for a takedown. No joy.
Rasputin Moon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Gerow. Moon gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Moon landing some nice looking knees to the body.

The cut above Jack Gerow's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Moon is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Moon jerks Gerow's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Gerow drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Moon goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Moon because Gerow was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knee). Rasputin Moon! Jumping up and down and very excited, Rasputin Moon waved his t-shirt featuring Lionwear's logo in front of the cameras.
