Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Vincentt Nox! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Vladislav Kashkin! The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kashkin gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Nox. The fight moves into the clinch position. Nox tries to land a knee to the head but Kashkin blocks with his arms.
Kashkin has Nox pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Kashkin pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Nox tumbling to the mat - Kashkin dives into Nox's guard. Kashkin stands and throws Nox's legs to the side, diving into side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sloppy strikes there by Kashkin. Kashkin misses with the ground and pound. Kashkin wants to lay and pray for a moment but Nox keeps working. Nox stops Kashkin from passing to mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kashkin tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Kashkin has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Kashkin is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Nox has escaped the position, nice work there. Kashkin just content to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nox is looking for a sweep. Nox is not content to let Kashkin control the position. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Nox is looking to regain half guard here but Kashkin keeps moving and retains side control. Nox stops Kashkin from passing to mount. Kashkin trying to control the position but Nox is working away. Nox manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Kashkin works his way to full guard. Good work. Nox missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Kashkin looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Kashkin keeping moving, preventing Nox from controlling successfully. Kashkin has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Nox doesn't defend quickly enough and Kashkin has managed to lock this one up! Can Nox escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Kashkin on a fantastic submission victory.
