Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Marku Parasca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bat Masterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Masterson comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Outlaw Heart by Tiger Army kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parasca shoots in and bounces Masterson off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Parasca drops back looking for a leg! Masterson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Masterson manages to kick Parasca off! Parasca jumps back into Masterson's guard.
Parasca is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Masterson is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Masterson seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Parasca does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
