Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Arashikage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dontae Sheldon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Arashikage comes to the cage accompanied by No Sleep 'Till Brooklyn. Sheldon is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Salmon Song. The key to victory for Tommy Arashikage has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arashikage is looking to clinch.
A looping hook to the body misses from Sheldon. Arashikage does a little dance to reset his feet.
Arashikage lands with a cross.
Arashikage throws a left and a right that both miss
and Sheldon counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Arashikage cracks Sheldon with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Sheldon throws an overhand right that lands on Arashikage's shoulder, as Arashikage tries to avoid the shot.
Sheldon throws a big shot that misses.
Arashikage goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Sheldon bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Arashikage's head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Arashikage lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Sheldon is rocked!
Sheldon lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Sheldon lands a nice hook to Arashikage's body. Arashikage takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Arashikage is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Arashikage throws a head kick that misses.
A head kick misses from Arashikage.
Sheldon is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Arashikage misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Sheldon is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
It looks like Tommy Arashikage has been cut.
Arashikage throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Sheldon.

Arashikage uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Sheldon.
Sheldon throws a left that rocks Arashikage and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Sheldon dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Arashikage regain composure!

A control attempt from Arashikage but he's now mounted!
Arashikage seems to have got his legs back now.
Sheldon goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Arashikage turns into him and now he's in Sheldon's guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Sheldon is on top in guard.

Sheldon stops Arashikage from standing up.
Arashikage can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Sheldon controls the pace.

Sheldon is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Sheldon's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Tommy Arashikage just wasn't active enough.

Arashikage is breathing heavily.
Arashikage ducks right into an uppercut from Sheldon.
Arashikage throws the left hand but Sheldon avoids the punch easily.
Arashikage closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Tommy Arashikage seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Arashikage throws a series of punches but Sheldon avoids them all with ease.
Sheldon lands with a right hand.
Arashikage moves to clinch but Sheldon breaks away
and Sheldon scores with a counter punch that sends Arashikage to the canvas! Sheldon smells blood - he's punishing Arashikage with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Arashikage has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dontae Sheldon!
