Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rob Steel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Black's entrance music is "Battle On" by War of Ages. A fine choice. Rob Steel has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Tyler Black's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tyler Black! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rob Steel! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, John Kavanagh and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Steel misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Black could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Black keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Black rushes Steel and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Steel breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Steel has taken the fight to the clinch.
Steel has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Steel decides to pull guard. Steel working for a triangle but Black defends it easily.
Steel keeping moving, preventing Black from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Steel trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Steel is adopting a defensive guard. Steel has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Steel trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Steel thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Steel bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Black's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Steel is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Black looking to control.
Steel wants to pass the guard but Black is keeping the position. Black pushes Steel off and scrambles back to his feet.
Tyler Black seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Black looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Steel trying to control here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Steel gets back to full guard.
Steel looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Black puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Steel trying to hold on to Black's head to control him but Black postures up.
Black seems to be looking for submissions.
Steel actively working from the bottom here. Black prevents Steel from standing back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Steel manages to get to full guard.
Black won't allow Steel to sweep him here. Steel trying to strike off his back.
Steel lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Black! Black is breathing heavily. Steel is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Black can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rob Steel dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Black throws a right hand that Steel ducks under and follows up with a left that Steel also avoids with ease. Steel on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Steel doesn't manage to clinch there - Black circles away.
Steel shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Black but Black pushes him off and we're back to square one. Steel avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Steel fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Black tries to clinch but Steel moves out of range. Steel throws a series of punches but Black moves out of range. Steel tries to clinch there but Black circles away.
Nice sprawl there from Steel as Black shoots in. Steel is looking to clinch but Black is avoiding it.

Steel throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Black tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Steel is in Black's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Black looking to control.
Black on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Black tries to get out of the position. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Steel stands up and waves to Black to follow him. Black tries to clinch up but Steel circles away and keeps his distance. Steel moves into the clinch. Steel has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Black is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Tyler Black has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rob Steel. Black tightens his grip and picks Steel up, before dumping him to the ground. Steel manages to land in guard. Steel kicks Black off and gets to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Steel shoots in for a takedown but Black shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. No luck for Steel with that takedown attempt. Steel swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Black stuffs the takedown attempt from Steel. Steel gets slowly back to his feet. Black throws a one two combo.
Black moves into the clinch. Steel breaks from the clinch.
Steel tries to keep at a distance but Black has taken the fight into the clinch. Black is trying to push Steel away but Steel has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Steel breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Steel. Steel misses with the combination.
Black moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Black drives through with a takedown into guard. Steel manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Steel tries to close the distance and clinch up but Black swats him away and circles back towards the center. Steel tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Black swivels and escapes. Steel tries to keep at a distance but Black has taken the fight into the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Steel jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Black walks away with a smile on his face. Steel gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Black has Steel up against the cage in a clinch.
Black tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Steel ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Steel no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Steel bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Black's guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Steel slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Black is wriggling around but Steel manages to pass to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Tyler Black will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Steel tries to clinch up. Steel shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Black napping and manages to drive through into side control! A lull in the action here as Steel stalls from top position. Black is trying to get back to half guard. Steel working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Black prevents Steel from improving position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Steel trying to control the position but Black is working away. Steel in side control, throwing shots but Black defends. Black tries to improve position but can't. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Steel lands a decent elbow from side control. Steel wants to lay and pray for a moment but Black keeps working.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Steel working the ground and pound. Steel working the ground and pound from side control. Steel decides to stand back up. Steel steps back and let's Black get back to his feet. Steel shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Steel is standing up, even though he is in mount. Steel drops Black with a beautiful combination! Black stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Steel is looking for the KO! Steel rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Black moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Rob Steel seems to be getting the better of the standup. Steel is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Black's half guard. Steel passes to full mount!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Steel controlling the pace for now. Steel landing strikes from the mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Steel cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Steel working away from the top, dropping strikes. Black knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Steel on the ground. Steel sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Steel working away from the top, dropping strikes.
And that's the end of the fight! Rob Steel comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Steel has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
