Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rick Barrington!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shirou Masuda and Yasuomi Hirokawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lachsford throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Lachsford keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Barrington displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Lachsford.
Lachsford shoots for a double leg takedown but Barrington sprawls well. He's pushed Lachsford's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Lachsford has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Barrington can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Barrington slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Barrington is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Barrington wants to control from the top but Lachsford keeps moving.

Barrington is posturing up here but Lachsford has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Barrington tries to roll out but it's too tight and Barrington has to tap! Slick submission there by Lachsford!
