Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shogun Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcel Clasie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Kashmir. Clasie has chosen Sensation White Anthem as his entrance music. Shogun Silva has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
That kick from Clasie tenderised Silva's leg. Silva is trying to keep his angry face on.
Clasie ducks right into an uppercut from Silva.
Clasie tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Silva manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Clasie misses with an uppercut. Silva saw that one coming.
Clasie staying out of range there.
Silva throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Clasie moves in looking to clinch but Silva pushes him off.
Silva misses with a body kick.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Silva.
Silva misses with an uppercut
and Clasie counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Clasie tries to clinch
and Silva makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Clasie really felt that one!
Clasie blocks the body kick.
Clasie throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Clasie throws a solid leg kick but Silva takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Clasie.
Silva lands a leg kick that knocks Clasie off balance momentarily.
Clasie tries to close the distance and clinch but Silva swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Silva throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Clasie blocks the body kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Silva lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Clasie has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Clasie and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Silva throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Clasie tries to clinch up but Silva circles away and keeps his distance.
Silva fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Nice defenses there by Clasie.
Silva throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
A jab from Silva misses.
Silva throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Silva lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Clasie has Silva up against the cage in a clinch.
Clasie lands a body shot in the clinch.
Clasie looking to stall.

Silva breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Silva ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Silva throws a poor cross that misses
letting Clasie counter with a right hand.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Silva gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Silva looks for the body kick but Clasie saw that one coming.
Clasie takes one to the side of the head.
Clasie is looking to clinch.
Silva feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Clasie's calf.
Silva goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Clasie staying out of range there.
A looping hook to the body misses from Silva. Clasie does a little dance to reset his feet.
Clasie slips a jab from Silva.
Clasie connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Silva is rocked!

Clasie clinches.
Oh Silva is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Clasie slowing the pace effectively.
A frustrated look appears on Silva's face as he tries to break the clinch.
A right hand to the body from Clasie.
Silva wants to break the clinch but can't.
Silva misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Clasie dips a shoulder and cracks Silva with a mighty uppercut! Silva falls back against the cage and Clasie unloads with a barrage of strikes! Silva is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Clasie screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
