Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ultimate Warrior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Angel Villanueva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Angel Villanueva will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ultimate Warrior! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Angel Villanueva! The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Viktor Lagutenko and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Villanueva tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Warrior swivels and escapes. Villanueva wants to clinch. Villanueva tries to close the distance and clinch up but Warrior swats him away and circles back towards the center. Warrior gets the takedown into side control. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Warrior is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Villanueva has escaped the position, nice work there. Villanueva is not content to let Warrior control the position. Warrior is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Villanueva is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Villanueva takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Warrior has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Warrior working the head with strikes. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Warrior is trying to get an arm triangle but Villanueva is defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Warrior looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Villanueva is avoiding damage well.
Warrior in side control lands a decent elbow. Warrior taking a breather here. Warrior is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Villanueva has escaped the position, nice work there. Warrior is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Villanueva knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Warrior tries to move to mount but Villanueva blocks the move with his legs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Warrior has an Americana. Villanueva didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Warrior is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Warrior hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Ultimate Warrior!
