The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Balboa avoids the body shot from Laminurez.
Balboa fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Balboa misses with a jab, cross combination.
Laminurez takes the fight into the clinch.
Laminurez tries to land knees in the clinch but Balboa avoids the damage to the body.

Laminurez comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
That has opened up Rocky Balboa's cut even more.
Balboa looks gassed!

Laminurez lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Balboa is trying to drag Laminurez to the mat but Laminurez just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Balboa changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Laminurez fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Laminurez fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Balboa manages to avoid it.
Laminurez tries to close the distance and clinch up but Balboa swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Balboa swats away the attempt to clinch by Laminurez.

The cut above Rocky Balboa's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Laminurez has Balboa pushed against the cage.

Rocky Balboa's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Rocky Balboa's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
