Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Taka Yoshi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damien Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Taka Yoshi could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Damien Silva's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Robert Twigg and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yoshi tries to clinch there but Silva circles away.
Yoshi looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Yoshi has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Yoshi wants to control from the top but Silva keeps moving.

Silva tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Silva jumps guard but Yoshi stands there with Silva around his waist. Silva gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Yoshi is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Silva can't fight it off and eventually Yoshi manages to take the fight to the floor. Silva looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Silva is looking for a triangle but Yoshi pushes his legs off easily.
Yoshi avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Yoshi is looking to stand up but Silva won't let him.

Yoshi gets to his feet. Silva looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Taka Yoshi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Damien Silva.

Silva drops back looking for a leg! Yoshi is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Yoshi manages to kick Silva off! Silva jumps back into Yoshi's guard.
Yoshi wants to stand but Silva is controlling the position.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Yoshi wants to stand up but Silva is controlling him.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Yoshi tries a head kick but it misses.

Yoshi seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Silva does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Silva tries to pull guard but Yoshi holds him up against the cage and eventually Silva drops back down to his feet.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Silva passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Silva wants to control but Yoshi is keeping him busy.
Silva might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Yoshi kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Yoshi is trying to get back to his feet.
Silva is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Yoshi is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Silva wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Yoshi, who protects the arm well.

Silva tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Silva has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Silva is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Yoshi knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Silva thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
