Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kotaro Fuma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Khoa Le (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Le has chosen Search and Destroy as his entrance music. Kotaro Fuma has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Kotaro Fuma! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Khoa Le! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Horrible takedown by Le or perhaps it was just good defense by Fuma which made him look bad. Fuma looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Le fails to land the takedown. Fuma checks a leg kick. Le bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Le tries for a kimura but Fuma is defending well. Fuma can't do much from the bottom here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Le looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Fuma defending against the ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Le prevents Fuma from escaping the position. Le is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Fuma knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Fuma gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fuma is trying to escape the mount but Le keeps good control and instead manages to take Fuma's back.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Le patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? Le working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet. Le tightening his grip on Fuma, looking for the choke. Le working for the choke.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fuma defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.
Le is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Fuma defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. Fuma tries to roll but Le sticks to his back.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Le tightening his grip on Fuma, looking for the choke. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Le patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? Le is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Fuma knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Fuma for a finish. Le not allowing Fuma to control his hands. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Khoa Le dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Le tries for a takedown but Fuma circles away easily and Fuma connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Le with a lazy takedown attempt and Fuma counters with a solid body kick. Nice sprawl there from Le as Fuma shoots in. Le has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Fuma fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Le, pushing him back against the cage. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Fuma is pressed up against the cage. Le has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Fuma down to the mat. Fuma avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Kotaro Fuma has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Khoa Le.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fuma fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Le sprawls well initially but Fuma persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Le is trying to stand back up but Fuma is controlling him
Le is refusing to be controlled, as Fuma sits in half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Le tries to roll over but Fuma keeps him under control. Le is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Fuma pulls his head out easily. Le tries to get to full guard but Fuma has control of the leg. Le is doing well to control the position and prevent Fuma from advancing to side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Le is looking to improve his position.
Le makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Le. Le bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Fuma's guard. Le forces his way into half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Le is looking for submissions but instead, Fuma has regained full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Le trying to control the position from guard on top but Fuma is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Fuma working a defensive guard here.
Le postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Le pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Fuma is keeping the position for now. Le is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Le thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Le advances to half guard. Le is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Fuma sees it coming and defends easily. Fuma is trying to stand back up but Le is controlling him
Fuma knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Le on the ground. Le is looking to take a break and control but Fuma is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Le content to control rather than advance. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Le is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Khoa Le showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. And we move into the final round!
Le has his takedown stuffed and Fuma counters by clinching up. Knees in the clinch landing for Fuma.
Fuma's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fuma shoots in for a takedown but Le shows good takedown defense. Le looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Le works his way into full mount! Fuma is controlling an arm, preventing Le from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
Le landing strikes from the mount and Fuma is in trouble! Le working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Fuma turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Le off and cradles Fuma's limp body as Le celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Khoa Le! Khoa Le thanked the fans post fight for their support.
