Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcos Nunes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hallendro Filipovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nunes kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Selling My Soul-by- BLACK SABBATH. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Marcos Nunes ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Hallendro Filipovic! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Daniel Blasius and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nunes shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Filipovic as he jumps to the side. Filipovic throws a series of punches but Nunes avoids them all with ease. Filipovic misses with a double jab
and Nunes counters with a nice double leg into side control. Filipovic won't be happy with that. Nunes tries to advance to mount but Filipovic denies him. Filipovic is pushing Nunes 's head away, looking to escape. Nunes manages to hold on to the position though. You can see the frustration on Filipovic's face as Nunes controls the position. Nunes looks up at the clock and then as Filipovic takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Nunes smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
This has been an exciting period of action! Nunes controls the position. Nunes advances to full mount. Nunes tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Filipovic tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nunes takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Nunes is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Filipovic to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Filipovic shrugs it off. Nunes tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Nunes landing strikes, looking to finish! Nunes content just to control the position here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nunes has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Nunes is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Filipovic can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Nunes working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Nunes controlling from mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Filipovic keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Nunes working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Filipovic turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Nunes off and cradles Filipovic's limp body as Nunes celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Marcos Nunes ! A very excited looking Marcos Nunes rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
