The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Siren gets a double leg takedown into Kruger's guard.

Siren drops back looking for a leg! Kruger is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Kruger manages to kick Siren off! Siren jumps back into Kruger's guard.
Siren throws a strike but Kruger rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kruger is fighting to break Siren's control of his arms but Siren is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Siren manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kruger manages to get himself to full guard.

Siren seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Kruger for as long as he can get away with.

Kruger is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Siren locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Kruger is forced to tap!
