Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Brian KO (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keha Anoki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anoki has chosen Walking After You as his entrance music. Brian KO has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Brian KO! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Keha Anoki! The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Roger Salmon and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! KO tries to clinch up. Anoki tries to score a power double leg takedown but KO sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Anoki somewhat. KO misses with a head kick.
Anoki looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? KO is fending him off so far but Anoki persists. Nope, KO circles away and we're back to standing. Anoki closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into KO's guard. Anoki drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and KO dives on top into guard. Anoki escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. KO gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. KO throwing strikes from guard but Anoki blocks nicely. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. KO avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

KO trying to control the position from guard on top but Anoki is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Anoki working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. KO doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. KO manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
That's one minute gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as KO accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Anoki looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! KO has picked Anoki up and slammed him! Anoki can't keep hold of the triangle and KO manages to pass to side control! Anoki tries to bench press KO off him but KO keeps the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. KO throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Anoki regains full guard. Nicely done. Anoki is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and KO defends well. Anoki looks gassed! The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. That's two minutes gone in the round. KO tries to free his leg and advance position but Anoki is retaining full guard. Anoki had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. KO defends it easily. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Anoki has his foot on KO's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. KO works his way back into a safe position though. KO has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. KO is looking to work some ground and pound but Anoki has wrist control. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! KO trying to control the action but Anoki is working from the bottom. Anoki looking for submissions from an awkward position here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Keha Anoki dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
KO darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Anoki keeps the fight on the outside. Anoki shoots in and bounces KO off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Anoki drops back, looking for a kneebar! KO looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. KO looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from KO! KO working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Anoki is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked KO off and has taken his back! KO manages to reverse the position and now he's in Anoki's guard. Nice work there by KO.
KO has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Anoki to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! KO is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Anoki pulls down on the head and he's put KO to sleep! This one is all over!
