Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Peter McHaggis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Ronin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McHaggis comes to the cage accompanied by The Spicy McHaggis Jig. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Peter McHaggis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ryan Ronin! The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Ivan Kurochkin and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ronin gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Ronin gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Ronin stands and throws McHaggis's legs to the side, diving into side control. A lull in the action here as Ronin stalls from top position. Ronin is looking to take a break and control but McHaggis is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. McHaggis being controlled for a moment. McHaggis is looking for a sweep. Ronin lands some shots froms side control. Ronin is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but McHaggis is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. McHaggis is looking for a sweep.
That's one minute gone in the round. McHaggis prevents Ronin from improving position. McHaggis tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Ronin wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Ronin trying to control the action but McHaggis is working from the bottom. McHaggis tries to bench press Ronin off him but Ronin keeps the position. McHaggis is trying to control Ronin's posture but Ronin avoids it. Ronin working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Ronin advances to mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. McHaggis manages to regain half guard. Good work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Ronin in particular looking to stall.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Ronin is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. McHaggis doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Ronin. McHaggis is looking to improve his position.
Ronin is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Ronin in particular looking to stall.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McHaggis is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Ronin controlling the action here. McHaggis is breathing heavily. Ronin tries to pass to full mount but McHaggis defends it. Ronin wants to work for an arm triangle but McHaggis is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. McHaggis tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. McHaggis tries to get to full guard but Ronin has control of the leg. McHaggis wants to control but Ronin is keeping busy.
Ronin moves nicely into side control. Ronin cracks McHaggis with an elbow. That is naaassty. Ronin looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Ronin works to advance to full mount. McHaggis defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ryan Ronin dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Ronin closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for McHaggis. Ronin is trying to trip McHaggis. He has hold of a leg but McHaggis is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Ronin persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Ronin trying to control the position from guard on top but McHaggis is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ronin throwing strikes from guard but McHaggis blocks nicely. McHaggis looking to hit a scissor sweep but Ronin is one step ahead there. Ronin passes McHaggis's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Ronin wants to free his trapped foot but McHaggis is holding on for dear life with his legs. Ronin works his way into side control. Ronin working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ronin is looking to take a break and control but McHaggis is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Ronin tries for a kimura but McHaggis is defending well. McHaggis is not content to let Ronin control the position. Ronin decides to take the fight back to the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. McHaggis scores with a jab to the jaw. Ronin shoots in and bounces McHaggis off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Ronin controlling from the top position. McHaggis is trying to control the position but Ronin postures up. Ronin drops back looking for a leg! McHaggis is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and McHaggis manages to kick Ronin off! Ronin jumps back into McHaggis's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ronin throwing strikes but missing. Ronin drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Ronin jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Ronin looking to pass the guard. Ronin trying to control but McHaggis is working from the bottom.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. McHaggis shoots in looking for a takedown. Ronin tries to sprawl out of it but McHaggis keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ronin manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Ronin clinches up against the cage. Ronin tries to pull guard but McHaggis won't allow it.

McHaggis wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Ronin has him pressed against the cage. Ronin jumps guard but McHaggis stands there with Ronin around his waist. Ronin gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Ronin breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. McHaggis clinches but Ronin breaks the clinch and Ronin holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. McHaggis wants to break the clinch but can't.

Ryan Ronin showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
McHaggis throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ronin's waist but Ronin gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing McHaggis off to one side. Peter McHaggis is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Ronin takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Ronin shoots in and drives through. McHaggis sprawls well. McHaggis cracks a nice hook into Ronin's ribs. McHaggis fails with the takedown and Ronin counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Ronin thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. McHaggis wants to sweep here but Ronin controlling him for the moment. Still in half guard, Ronin seems content to control.
That's one minute gone in the round. McHaggis is trying to maintain the position but Ronin is very close to passing his half guard. Ronin is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for McHaggis! Ronin looking to control and managing it successfully. Ronin has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of McHaggis's face.
Ronin has isolated one of McHaggis's arms. McHaggis looking to fight him off but Ronin twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
