Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Cung Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mauricio Machida!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Daniel Blasius and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee throws a good cross that connects.
Machida wants to clinch up but Lee keeps it at a distance.
Lee scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Machida closes the distance and pushes Lee back into the ropes.
Machida breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Machida takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lee tries a head kick but it misses.
Machida moves in looking to clinch but Lee pushes him off.
Nice uppercut there from Lee.
Machida tries to clinch but Lee is having none of it.
Machida closes the distance and pushes Lee back into the ropes.
Machida is looking to break free of the clinch but Lee has double underhooks.

Machida is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Machida breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Lee thuds his right hand into Machida's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Machida rushes Lee and presses him up against the ropes.
Lee pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Lee lands a head kick that bluckles Machida and drops him to the canvas. He's still conscious but it looks like it's going to take him the full 10 seconds to get back his senses! He's up on 9 and seems to be just about OK to continue.... the referee agrees and we're back to the action with Lee no doubt looking to push for a finish!
It looks like Mauricio Machida has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A jab from Lee finds it's way through Machida's defenses.
Machida is rocked!
Lee throws a head kick that misses
and Machida counters by clinching up.
Machida is still on wobbly legs! Can Lee finish him?
Lee blocks an elbow strike from Machida.
Machida seems to have recovered his senses.
Lee wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Lee struggles to land a body shot inside as Machida controls his hands.
Machida tries to work over Lee's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Machida lands a good knee to the midsection. Lee won't want to take too many of those.
Lee is leaning against Machida and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Lee is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Machida is defending well for now.
Lee prevents Machida from breaking the clinch.
With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Machida creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Machida wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Machida tries to clinch there but Lee circles away.

Lee throws a front kick that sends Machida stumbling back into the ropes.
Machida looks gassed!
Lee throws a nice head kick!
Lee closes the distance and lands a one-two.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lee looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Lee backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Machida's temple! It sends Machida violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Lee celebrates and the doctors try to help Machida!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Flying Knee). Cung Lee!
