Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Cung Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Takanori Gomi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Paul Aken and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee throws a head kick that Gomi semi-blocks.
Lee throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

and Lee counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Some wild striking there from Gomi.
Gomi staggers Lee with a jab and knocks him down with a follow up straight! Lee looks in trouble, will he beat the count?! The count has reached 5 and he's only back to 1 knee - it's going to be close! 6,7,8 - he's up! Just in time and the ref is going to let the fight continue!
It looks like Cung Lee has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Gomi ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Gomi connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Lee to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Gomi!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Takanori Gomi!
A relieved looking Takanori Gomi thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
