Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dave Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hunter Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dave Davis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hunter Jackson! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Wesley Smith and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Davis shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Davis wants to clinch up but Jackson keeps it at a distance. Davis shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jackson pinned against the cage. Jackson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Dave Davis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jackson doesn't succeed with the takedown and Davis counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Jackson! Davis prevents Jackson from getting the reversal. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jackson is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Davis lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Davis looking to secure an arm triangle but Jackson defends it well. Jackson throwing hammer fists to the chest of Davis. What's that going to do exactly? Davis jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Jackson manages to avoid the submission attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Davis's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Davis is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Jackson has managed to free his arm - good work. Jackson is trying to get back to full guard. Jackson gets full guard. Davis stopping the sweep attempt from Jackson. Jackson striking off his back but it's not causing Davis any problems.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Jackson looking for a guillotine here but Davis defends easily.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Jackson has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Davis has passed into side control.
Jackson is looking for a sweep. Davis is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Jackson is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Davis tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Davis is breathing heavily. Jackson tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Davis advances to mount. Jackson defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Davis. Jackson swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Davis wants to take Jackson's back but he can't do it this time. Davis is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Jackson has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Jackson! Jackson trying to control but Davis is working from the bottom. Jackson has gone for a leg lock! Davis slips out almost immediately though and dives into Jackson's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jackson lands a couple of shots from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Davis stopping the sweep attempt from Jackson. Davis lands a couple of elbows. Jackson is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Jackson looking for a sweep. Not yet Jackson, not yet. Jackson has an active guard here but Davis has managed to pass into half guard.
Davis is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dave Davis dominated that round. That's time! Davis's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Jackson with a lazy takedown attempt so Davis counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Jackson is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Davis is pushing down on Jackson's leg trying to pass to half guard. Jackson is fighting to maintain full guard but Davis has managed to sneak the leg through. Jackson wants to improve his position but Davis is controlling well.
Davis works his foot free and advances to mount. Jackson tries to improve his position but Davis has taken his back! Davis has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Jackson tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Davis pushes Jackson away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
