Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Rich Marshland (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyrell Summers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Summers has chosen Last Chance as his entrance music. Marshland has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Tyrell Summers is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rich Marshland! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tyrell Summers! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, John Roberts and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Marshland with a lazy takedown attempt and Summers makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Marshland is breathing heavily. Summers lands a nice hook to Marshland's body. Marshland takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Summers scores with a leg kick.
Summers feints and as Marshland raises his hands in defense, Summers changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Summers not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Let's hope that Summers has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Summers sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Marshland's guard. Summers frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Summers looking to control and managing it successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Summers working for a guillotine from mount but Marshland is in no mood to give up. Summers sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Summers has control of Marshland's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Marshland regains control of the situation pretty easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Summers controlling from mount. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Summers fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Marshland has given up his back. Will we see Summers going for some submissions?

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Summers is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Summers gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Summers gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Summers apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Summers throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Marshland was covering up waiting for the punch and Summers finishes the takedown easily into guard. Summers controlling from the top position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Tyrell Summers wasn't active enough on the ground. Marshland takes a body punch but keeps moving. Summers throws a nice outside leg kick. That kick from Summers tenderised Marshland's leg. Marshland is trying to keep his angry face on. Summers rushes Marshland and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! A short uppercut from Summers. Summers lands a right hand.
Marshland is rocked! Summers lands a body punch in the clinch. Oh Marshland is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Summers gets through Marshland's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Summers gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Marshland regains guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tyrell Summers dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Summers shoots in for a takedown. Oh, that's a huge slam! Marshland is on queer street and Summers is pounding down on him with a barage of strikes. The ref is forced to step in and stop the fight. Great finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Slam). Tyrell Summers!
