Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Arto Byyri!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Colin Fotheringham and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bauer moves forwards but Byyri connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Bauer with a hook.
A big right from Byyri misses.
A jab from Byyri misses.
A combination from Bauer does no damage.
Bauer lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Bauer.
Bauer lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Byyri circles away quickly and effectively.
Jack Bauer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bauer uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Byyri.
Byyri takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Bauer swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Bauer slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Byyri is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Bauer is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Byyri's shoulder. That is not cool.
Bauer works to advance to full mount. Byyri defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Byyri takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Bauer takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Bauer has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Byyri's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Bauer can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Byyri is looking to escape.

Bauer seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Byyri for as long as he can get away with.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Bauer is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Bauer!
