Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paul Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Liddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Liddell has chosen Ice Cold as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Paul Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Chuck Liddell!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Alyssa Summers and David Schapiro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liddell looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Jones swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Jones uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Liddell.
A left and a right from Liddell both land. Nice combination.


It looks like Paul Jones has been cut.
Liddell defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Jones.
Jones digs a good body shot into Liddell's ribs.

Jones lands a really nice looking cross but Liddell seems unphased.

Liddell is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Liddell feints and then cracks Jones's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Jones down.
Liddell takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Liddell throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Good leg kick by Liddell there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Liddell tries to lock up and control but Jones gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Liddell throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Liddell throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Chuck Liddell comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Liddell has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
