Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jol Katarin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Glen Quagmire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Quagmire has chosen Die MotherFucker Die as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

14 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Glen Quagmire!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Ivan Kurochkin and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quagmire lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Quagmire scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Katarin takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Horrible takedown by Katarin or perhaps it was just good defense by Quagmire which made him look bad.

Katarin shoots in looking for a takedown. Quagmire tries to sprawl out of it but Katarin keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Quagmire manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Katarin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Quagmire swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Katarin takes a swing at Quagmire's ribcage but misses.
No joy there for Quagmire, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Katarin doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Quagmire counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Katarin thinking.
Katarin shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Katarin showed some decent athleticism there.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Katarin looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Quagmire with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Glen Quagmire will probably get the nod.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Katarin comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Quagmire misses with a wild body shot.

Quagmire throws a body punch but Katarin moves out of range.
Quagmire walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Katarin looks to land a left hand but Quagmire moved out of range nicely.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Katarin lands a nice short elbow.

Katarin is nestled in close to Quagmire, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Glen Quagmire's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

After winning the bout, Jol Katarin thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
