The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goncalves circles away from the clinch attempt
and Goncalves counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Goncalves has taken the fight to the clinch.
Nogera misses with a knee strike.

Nogera throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Goncalves blocks it with crossed arms.

and Goncalves counters with a shoot takedown. Nogera fights it but they end up in guard.
Nogera is wriggling around but Goncalves manages to pass to half guard.

Goncalves tries to pass the half guard into mount. Nogera knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Nogera is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
