The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cotto misses with a wild body shot.
Cotto throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Bashor sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Bashor throws a series of punches but Cotto avoids them all with ease.

and Bashor counters with a stiff right hand.
Cotto swings away with a body shot that misses
and Bashor counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Bashor slips under a jab from Cotto.
Cotto throws out a loose jab but Bashor uses good head movement to avoid it.
Cotto throws a sloppy body shot
and Bashor connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Miguel Cotto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
