Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between stanely burnsely (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anderson Sliva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anderson Sliva acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Atkins and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sliva throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around burnsely's waist but burnsely gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sliva off to one side.
burnsely shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

burnsely stands and steps away. Sliva gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Sliva gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Sliva apologises and we restart here on the feet.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

burnsely scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
burnsely fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Sliva sprawls well initially but burnsely persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Sliva is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Sliva has hold of burnsely's hands but burnsely slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

burnsely has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Sliva's face.

Sliva is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Sliva is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but burnsely is staying active.
burnsely can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Sliva is looking to escape.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Sliva bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
