Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bwanali Longwe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ballard Magnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Magnar has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Longwe.
Longwe moves out of range as Magnar strikes.
Magnar keeps the fight on the outside.
Magnar looks gassed!
Longwe shoots for a takedown but Magnar saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Ballard Magnar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Horrible takedown by Longwe or perhaps it was just good defense by Magnar which made him look bad.

Longwe looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Magnar is fending him off so far but Longwe persists. Nope, Magnar circles away and we're back to standing.

Longwe closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Magnar to the mat! Magnar manages to get full guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Magnar is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Longwe defends well.

Longwe throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Magnar's waist but Magnar gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Longwe off to one side.

Longwe throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Magnar was covering up waiting for the punch and Longwe finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Longwe wants to get up but he can't break Magnar's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ballard Magnar is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Magnar throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Longwe stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Magnar, as that shot connected.
Longwe looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Longwe tries to clinch but Magnar moves out of range.
Magnar lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Longwe on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Magnar misses with a double jab.
Bwanali Longwe has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Longwe throws a leg kick but Magnar sees it coming and checks it nicely.
And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Ballard Magnar.
I've got Magnar winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
