10 - 14 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hugo Martinez! The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Jonathan Paton and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Martinez on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Martinez shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Martinez gets tackled into the cage by Kilkenny. Kilkenny maintains the clinch. Kilkenny comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Martinez as Kilkenny tries to tie him up. Martinez jumps guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Martinez is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Kilkenny is aware though and is defending well. Kilkenny postures up.
