Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Geter Done (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hamid Karzai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Geter Done is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
15 - 33 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Geter Done!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
11 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Hamid Karzai!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Steve Erwin and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karzai shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Done is trying to defend but Karzai finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Karzai controlling the action here.
Karzai not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

Karzai thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Karzai has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

and Done counters with a single leg into guard. Karzai didn't expect that.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Karzai manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Done manages to get himself to full guard.
Karzai decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Karzai moves into the clinch.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Karzai creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Done is trying to force a seperation but Karzai has the dominant position.
Karzai pushes Done back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Karzai is trying to break the clinch but Done is controlling him.
Karzai has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Done is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Karzai decides to pull guard.
Done throws a strike but Karzai rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Karzai keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Done's head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Karzai is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Done pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Karzai is keeping the position for now.
Karzai is trying to keep Done in close.
Karzai scrambles and gets back to his feet.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Karzai moves in looking to clinch but Done pushes him off.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Done closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Karzai to the mat! Karzai manages to get full guard.
Karzai kicks Done off and gets to his feet.
Done throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Karzai's waist but Karzai gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Done off to one side.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Done keeps the fight on the outside.
Karzai tries to clinch up but Done circles away and keeps his distance.

Karzai misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Done changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Karzai tries to avoid it but Done manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Karzai to the ground. Karzai escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Done avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Done takes a kick to the side of the head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Horrible takedown by Done or perhaps it was just good defense by Karzai which made him look bad.
Karzai tries to clinch up.

Karzai tries to clinch but Done moves out of range.
Done circles away from the clinch attempt.
Karzai fails with an attempt to clinch.
Done feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Done throws an elbow that misses. Karzai uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Done's guard. Nice move by Karzai!
Karzai decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Karzai is defended easily by Done.
Done fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Geter Done. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Karzai tries to clinch up.
Karzai closes the distance and clinches.

Karzai has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Done clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Karzai connects with a big shot to the side of Done's head.

Done knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Karzai on the ground.
Karzai is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Karzai gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Karzai gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Karzai apologises and we restart here on the feet.

and Done counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Karzai has one foot on Done's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Karzai moves into range and clinches up with Done.
Done is looking to take this one to the mat.
Karzai wants to get back to striking at distance but Done won't allow it.

Done drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Karzai gets the underhooks and prevents it.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Hamid Karzai showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Karzai pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Karzai lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Oooooh, big shot lands for Karzai! Done is hurt baaadly! Karzai is firing away with more strikes - Done is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
