Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Simon Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Rogers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Williams's entrance music is UFC: Closer to the Edge (Jared Leto). A fine choice. Rogers has chosen I Am A Real American as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
It looks like Simon Williams has been cut.
Rogers swinging wildly here.
A head kick from Williams lands but Rogers takes it in his stride.
Rogers pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Rogers tries to close the distance and clinch but Williams swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Rogers tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Williams paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Williams lands a high kick!
It looks like Steve Rogers has been cut.
Rogers shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Rogers takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Williams scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Rogers fails in his attempt to clinch.
Williams sends Rogers crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Williams is motioning to the referee to let Rogers up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
A head kick misses from Rogers.
Williams throws a leg kick which misses Rogers's front leg but catches the back leg as Rogers tries to avoid it.
Rogers looks gassed!
Williams goes for a small jab and connects. Now Williams goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Rogers stumbles back but Williams runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Rogers to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Rogers will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Simon Williams!
