Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Francis Drake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Francis Drake! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Ben Jackson! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Steven Brown and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A left and a right from Jackson both land. Nice combination. Drake wants to clinch and Jackson counters with a nice uppercut. Jackson fails with an attempt to clinch.
Drake wants to clinch. Drake avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Jackson is looking to clinch but Drake is avoiding it.
Jackson has Drake up against the cage in a clinch.
The referee calls for Jackson to work.
Jackson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Jackson clinches up against the cage. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson lands a hook to the side of the head. Jackson pressing his opponent against the cage. Drake wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. A bit of stalling here from Jackson.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Ben Jackson. Drake tries to clinch but Jackson moves out of range. Drake circles away from the clinch attempt.
Drake looks to clinch and Jackson counters with a lovely straight right hand! Jackson tries to clinch there but Drake circles away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jackson doesn't manage to clinch there - Drake circles away.
Drake throws a lazy uppercut
and Jackson holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. A left hand lands to the body for Jackson.
Drake is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Jackson is keeping busy. Jackson stalling against the cage.
The crowd are getting on Jackson's back here. They're not happy about his lack of aggression in the clinch. Jackson blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Drake fails to pull the fight into his guard.
This has been an exciting period of action! Drake tries to work over Jackson's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Drake tries to land knees in the clinch but Jackson avoids the damage to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jackson throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Drakes head. Jackson lands a body shot. Jackson is trying to drag Drake to the mat but Drake just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Jackson as Drake tries to tie him up. Jackson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Jackson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Drake swats him away and circles back towards the center. Jackson moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Jackson thows a body kick. Drake tries to catch it but that hurt him. Drake closes the distance looking to clinch and Jackson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jackson is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Jackson goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Jackson circles away from the clinch attempt.
Jackson darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Jackson moves into the clinch successfully.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Drake is defending well against a takedown attempt. Drake is trying to pull guard but Jackson turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jackson leaning against his opponent.
Jackson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Jackson closes the distance and clinches. Drake is trying to maintain a safe position but Jackson gets an underhook and turns Drake into the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ben Jackson dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Drake tries to clinch up. Drake moves in looking to clinch but Jackson pushes him off. Drake tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jackson paws at him with a jab and circles away. Drake tries to clinch but fails miserably and Jackson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Jackson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Drake manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Jackson moves into the clinch. Jackson just leaning against Drake, taking a breather. Jackson stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Jackson lands an uppercut. Jackson successfully pulls guard.
Jackson is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

That's one minute gone in the round. Drake wants to pass the guard but Jackson is keeping the position. Drake knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jackson on the ground. Jackson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Drake doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Jackson is tightening it up a little... Drake has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Drake reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Drake taps out! Nice BJJ there by Jackson!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Ben Jackson! Ben Jackson decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
