Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
18 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Champ Bombada!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
19 - 11 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jenson Rawlins!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Marco Blurström and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bombada misses the shot to the body.
Rawlins tries a head kick but it misses.
Bombada scores with a sloppy right hand. Rawlins should have avoided that one.
Rawlins takes one to the chin there.
It looks like Jenson Rawlins has been cut.
Rawlins feints and as Bombada raises his hands in defense, Rawlins changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Rawlins throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Bombada works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Rawlins trying to control but Bombada is working from the bottom.
Rawlins is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Bombada preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Rawlins has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Rawlins stands and throws Bombada's legs to the side, diving into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Bombada is not content to let Rawlins control the position.
Rawlins has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Rawlins wants to control the pace but Bombada is squirming around nicely.
The referee warns Bombada that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Rawlins swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
