The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Lyon tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Lyon has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Lyon is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Owen's shoulder. That is not cool.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lyon has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Owen!
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Owen can do anything to dispel that myth.
Lyon wants to control the pace but Owen is squirming around nicely.
Poor strikes thrown by Lyon there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Owen reaches up to try and control the position but Lyon seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Owen rolls and tries to escape and now Lyon has his back!
I would not like to be Owen right now.
