Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Albert Stoker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rhys Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Albert Stoker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rhys Williams! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Winston Howard and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stoker takes the fight into the clinch. Williams wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Williams putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Stoker in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. Williams is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Stoker gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Stoker trying to land knees to the body.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Williams jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Stoker walks away with a smile on his face. Williams gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Stoker scores with a decent looking hook. Stoker throws a leg kick that misses. Williams gets the takedown into side control. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Stoker is trying to control Williams's posture but Williams avoids it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Williams looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stoker tries to get back to half guard but can't. Stoker manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Still in half guard, Williams seems content to control. Williams tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Stoker. Williams tries to pass to full mount but Stoker defends it. Williams looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Stoker is trying to maintain the position but Williams is very close to passing his half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Williams looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Stoker is trying to stand up here but Williams is controlling him well. Stoker wants to control but Williams is keeping busy and won't allow it. Williams not landing any meaningful shots this time. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Stoker keeping hold of Williams's head, controlling as best he can.
Albert Stoker has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Williams misses with a kick to the body.
Williams moves forwards but Stoker connects with a nice, crisp jab. Stoker fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Williams misses with a two punch combination.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stoker feints a jab promting Williams to slip. Stoker then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Williams slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Stoker lands a nice looking body shot.
Stoker connects with a crisp jab. Williams dives in and grabs Stoker's left leg, looking for a takedown. Stoker pushes down on Williams's head and hops out. Albert Stoker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rhys Williams. Williams looks gassed! Stoker connects with a good right hand that stumbles Williams. Williams circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Stoker fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Williams is out of range. Stoker scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Williams doesn't seem bothered though. Stoker connects with a crisp jab. Stoker lands with a straight right. Williams didn't see that one coming. Williams closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Williams lands in his opponent's guard. Stoker has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Williams in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Stoker wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Williams manages to pass to side control. Stoker preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. Williams tries to pass to full mount but Stoker defends it. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Stoker is trying to get back to full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Albert Stoker will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Williams will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Williams shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Stoker napping and manages to drive through into side control! Stoker is looking for a sweep. Williams working the ground and pound. Williams controls the position. Stoker is trying to control Williams's posture but Williams avoids it. Williams stands up and we're back to a striking position. Stoker slaps away a takedown attempt from Williams, before circling back to the center of the mat. Stoker throws a low kick, looking for Williams's leg but Williams calmly moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stoker cracks Williams with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Williams is breathing heavily. Stoker closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Stoker thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Williams's head. Stoker thows a huge punch but Williams dodges it nicely.

Williams avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Stoker. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Stoker connects with a nice short shot to Williams's temple. Stoker throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Stoker wants to pass the guard but Williams is defending well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stoker missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Stoker is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Rhys Williams has got the better of the ground game so far. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Stoker is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Stoker is pressing down on Williams's thigh, looking to free his foot. Williams is holding on for now. Stoker knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Williams on the ground. Stoker looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Stoker thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Stoker trying to control the position from guard on top but Williams is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Stoker wants to pass the guard but Williams is keeping the position. Stoker has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Stoker trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Stoker is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Williams is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Albert Stoker dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Stoker walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Williams checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Stoker scores with a jab. Williams acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Williams takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Stoker feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Williamss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Stoker scores with a jab. Williams shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Stoker is trying to defend but Williams finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Stoker is not content to let Williams control the position. Williams is working for a submission of some sort.

Williams takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stoker is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Williams's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Williams's back! Stoker is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Williams knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Williams for a finish. Stoker has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Williams has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Stoker is striking from the back but Williams escapes and manages to recover to half guard. Williams is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Stoker seems to be working for a kimura but Williams defends the submission attempt. Stoker working over Williams with some ground and pound. Williams looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Stoker not landing any meaningful shots this time. Williams kicks Stoker off and gets back to his feet. Decent striking displayed by Stoker there. A solid leg kick lands there for Stoker.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stoker looks for a takedown but Williams sprawls well. Williams takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Stoker gets tackled into the cage by Williams. Williams maintains the clinch. Williams prevents the takedown attempt.
Williams changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Stoker fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Stoker throws a head kick but Williams moves out of range.

Stoker fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Williams looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Stoker shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Williams napping and manages to drive through into side control!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stoker wants to lay and pray for a moment but Williams keeps working. Williams tries to improve position but can't. Stoker has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Williams! Williams keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Stoker landing punches. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Williams tries to hold on but Stoker pushes him away. Williams in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Stoker with the ground and pound from mount. Stoker working away from the top, dropping strikes. Rhys Williams has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Stoker landing shots from mount.
And that's the end of the fight! Albert Stoker showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Stoker, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
