Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, James McEvoy!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Chris Downing and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hayabusa tries to bum rush McEvoy with a series of wild strikes but McEvoy uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Hayabusa wants to clinch up but McEvoy keeps it at a distance.
Hayabusa misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Hayabusa throws a right hand that McEvoy ducks under and follows up with a left that McEvoy also avoids with ease.
Hayabusa misses with a two punch combination.

Hayabusa darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
McEvoy is not content to let Hayabusa control the position.
Hayabusa wants to stand up but McEvoy is controlling the position.

McEvoy wants to get back to full guard.
Hayabusa has decided to stand back up but his arm is trapped. Whilst he's worrying about his arm, McEvoy works to full guard.
Hayabusa is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
McEvoy controls Hayabusa momentarily but Hayabusa frees himself.

Hayabusa shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in McEvoy's guard.
Hayabusa would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

McEvoy avoids a punch combination nicely.
Hayabusa rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but McEvoy moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

McEvoy looking for a sweep but Hayabusa has passed into full mount! Oh no!

James McEvoy has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
McEvoy shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

And that's the end of the fight!
Simon Hayabusa showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Hayabusa, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
