Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ruud Davids (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Bolson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Davids comes to the cage accompanied by Def Leppard - Pour Some Sugar On Me. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ruud Davids!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jack Bolson!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, William Peck and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bolson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Davids tries to avoid it but Bolson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Davids to the ground. Davids escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Bolson shoots in but Davids avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Bolson drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Davids regains half guard.
Davids wants to improve his position but Bolson is controlling well.

Davids escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bolson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Bolson won't allow Davids to sweep him here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bolson takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Bolson pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Davids is in all sorts of trouble here.
Bolson cracks Davids with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jack Bolson dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!



Bolson gets a takedown into half guard.
Davids has hold of Bolson's hands but Bolson slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Bolson. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Bolson takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Bolson seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Davids does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Davids is nestled in close to Bolson, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
