PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kale Hayabusa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carmelo Razor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Razor has chosen AC/DC - Hells Bells as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Razor fails to land with a series of punches.
Razor throws a right and a left that both miss.
Razor attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Hayabusa takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Hayabusa slips a jab and a cross from Razor.
Razor lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

Hayabusa is rocked!
Razor looks to land a combination but Hayabusa avoids it well.
Oh Hayabusa is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Razor throws a series of punches but Hayabusa avoids them all with ease.
Hayabusa throws a leg kick which misses Razor's front leg but catches the back leg as Razor tries to avoid it.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Hayabusa.

Razor throws a series of punches but Hayabusa avoids them all with ease.
Hayabusa will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Hayabusa tries to bum rush Razor with a series of wild strikes but Razor uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Razor chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Hayabusa can pounce on him.

Razor has Hayabusa up against the cage in a clinch.
Razor tries to break the clinch but Hayabusa is controlling the position.
Hayabusa using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Razor has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

No joy there for Razor, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Hayabusa bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Hayabusa takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

and Hayabusa moves into the clinch.
Hayabusa landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

and Razor counters with a shoot takedown. Hayabusa fights it but they end up in guard.

Carmelo Razor showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Razor misses with a double jab

and Hayabusa counters with a nice double leg into side control. Razor won't be happy with that.
Razor wants to get back to his feet but Hayabusa drags him back down.
Hayabusa is looking to take a break and control but Razor is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Hayabusa is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Hayabusa is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Razor tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
Hayabusa wants to control the pace but Razor is squirming around nicely.

Hayabusa can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Razor is looking to escape.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Hayabusa wants to finish this one by submission but Razor is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Hayabusa.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Razor is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
