Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Genral Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Garciea (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Jose Garciea was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Genral Lee! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jose Garciea! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Jorge Garcia and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Garciea misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Lee throws a hook but Garciea blocks it. Lee throws a leg kick but Garciea moved away. Lee slaps away a takedown attempt from Garciea, before circling back to the center of the mat. Garciea throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lee's waist but Lee gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Garciea off to one side. Genral Lee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jose Garciea. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Garciea checks a leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Garciea shoots and misses and Lee counters with a stiff right hand. Garciea shoots for a double leg takedown but Lee sprawls well. He's pushed Garciea's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Lee misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Lee takes a swing at Garciea's ribcage but misses. Garciea doesn't succeed with the takedown and Lee counters with a left to the body. Lee finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lee throws a low kick but Garciea avoids it. Lee keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Garciea checks a low kick from Lee. Genral Lee is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Garciea shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Lee counters with a thumping low kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Garciea gets the takedown into side control. Garciea in side control, throwing shots but Lee defends. Lee tries to buck Garciea off but Garciea is having none of it. Garciea throws an elbow but Lee slips to the side and avoids it well. Lee sneaks back into half guard. Garciea seems to be working for a kimura but Lee defends the submission attempt. Lee is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Garciea pulls his head out easily. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Garciea connects with a nice short shot to Lee's temple. Lee slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Lee working a defensive guard here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Garciea throws a big elbow that misses. Garciea got a little sloppy there for a moment and Lee has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Garciea has managed to get both his arms back between Lee's legs - danger averted. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Garciea is pushing down on Lee's leg trying to pass to half guard. Lee is fighting to maintain full guard but Garciea has managed to sneak the leg through. Garciea tries to pass to full mount but Lee defends it. Lee wants to improve his position but Garciea is controlling well.
Lee manages to get to full guard.
Garciea throwing strikes from guard but Lee blocks nicely. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Lee keeping moving, preventing Garciea from controlling successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Genral Lee will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Garciea doesn't succeed with the takedown and Lee counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Garciea misses with a takedown attempt and Lee counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Lee displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Garciea. Genral Lee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jose Garciea. Garciea fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Lee looks to throw the jab but Garciea is out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Garciea has his takedown stuffed and Lee counters with a slapping leg kick. Lee fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Garciea is out of range. Garciea shoots and misses and Lee counters with a thumping low kick. Garciea doesn't succeed with the takedown and Lee counters with a leg kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. No luck for Garciea with that takedown attempt. Lee stuffs the takedown. Garciea pivots, looking for a leg kick but Lee is out of range and Garciea settles back down. Lee throws a leg kick but Garciea sees it coming and moves out of range. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lee tries to work over Garciea's front leg with a kick but Garciea checks it. Garciea misses with a low kick.
Garciea checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Lee attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Garciea fails with a takedown attempt. Lee misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Garciea.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Garciea with a lazy takedown attempt and Lee makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. A low kick from Lee is predictable there and Garciea counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Garciea makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Lee looking for a guillotine here but Garciea defends easily.
Garciea missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lee throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Lee misses with a leg kick and Garciea decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Lee's guard. Garciea won't allow Lee to sweep him here. Lee preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Garciea throwing strikes but missing. Garciea trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Lee is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Lee working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Garciea doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Garciea manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Garciea postures up in Lee's guard and throws a big left but Lee blocks it. Lee has his foot on Garciea's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Garciea works his way back into a safe position though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lee can't keep his opponent in guard - Garciea advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Lee is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Garciea scores with a couple of nice shots. Jose Garciea has got the better of the ground game so far. Garciea thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Garciea lands a nice short elbow. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Garciea wants to pass the guard but Lee is defending well. Garciea looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Lee wants to get back to his feet. Garciea looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Garciea throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lee gets back to full guard.
Garciea is looking to work some ground and pound but Lee has wrist control. Lee throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Garciea avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Garciea trying to control but Lee is working from the bottom. Lee looking for a sweep. Not yet Lee, not yet. Garciea lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Lee wants to sweep but no luck. Garciea throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Garciea landing some decent shots from guard. Garciea loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Garciea postures up and lands a big shot to Lee's brow. Lee wants to stand up but Garciea is controlling him. Garciea passes Lee's left leg - he's now in half guard. Lee looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Garciea missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Lee kicks off Garciea and gets to his feet. Garciea with a lazy takedown attempt and Lee counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Garciea throws out a leg kick but Lee moves out of range and Garciea only half commits.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Garciea checks a leg kick nicely. Some bone on bone action there as Garciea checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Garciea uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Lee.
Lee is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. A leg kick checked by Lee. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Lee loads up on a big right hand but Garciea slips the punch.
And that's the end of the fight! Jose Garciea comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Garciea has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by majority decision... Jose Garciea! A less than humble Jose Garciea misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
