Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jackson Rivera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brett Heart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rivera comes to the ring accompanied by i wont give up. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jackson Rivera!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Brett Heart!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Roger Salmon and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heart closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Rivera quickly recovers to half guard.
Rivera looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Rivera has hold of Heart's hands but Heart slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Heart is looking to take a break and control but Rivera is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Heart looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Rivera with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Heart tries to stand but can't do so whilst Rivera controls his leg.
Rivera is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Heart scores with a couple of nice shots.
Rivera is rocked!
Rivera really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Heart trying to control the action but Rivera is working from the bottom.
Heart slows the pace down in half guard.
Heart landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Oh Rivera is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Heart is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Rivera has managed to free his arm - good work.
Heart landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Heart lands strikes from half guard.
Heart is trying to work for a kimura but Rivera is defending well.
Rivera is refusing to be controlled, as Heart sits in half guard.
Rivera trying to control but Heart postures up.
Heart is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Heart trying to control from Rivera's half guard. Rivera has other ideas though and has regained full guard.
Rivera has momentary wrist control but Heart slips an elbow through the middle.
Heart drops back looking for a leg! Rivera is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Rivera manages to kick Heart off! Heart jumps back into Rivera's guard.
Rivera keeping moving, preventing Heart from controlling successfully.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Heart chips away with some ground and pound.
Heart working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Rivera's head.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Heart stands and throws Rivera's legs to the side, diving into side control.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Heart scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Rivera to see if he's OK.
Heart in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Rivera looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Heart turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Brett Heart!
