The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, David Schapiro and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ross throws a looping overhand right but Quintana ducks down to avoid it.
Ross scores with a crisp jab that stopped Quintana in his tracks.
Ross drives through with a takedown into guard.
Quintana wants to improve his position but instead Ross has moved into half guard.
Ross is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Quintana is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Ross scores with a couple of nice shots.

Ross manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Quintana on his heels. He'll look to pass Quintana's guard now, I'm sure.
Mike Ross overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Ross postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ross postures up in Quintana's guard and throws a big left but Quintana blocks it.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Ross lands a nice short elbow.

That was a close second round but I would say that Mike Ross will probably get the nod.

Ross comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Quintana throws a hook but Ross avoids it easily.

Quintana bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Quintana counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Ross fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Quintana, pushing him back against the cage.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Quintana blocks a punch to the side of the head.
A right hook to the body lands for Ross.
Ross can't find room to land a body shot as Quintana controls the action.
A head punch on the inside from Ross fails to land.
Ross manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Ross has hold of one of Quintana's legs. Quintana is fighting the takedown attempt but Ross gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

And that's the end of the fight!
Mike Ross showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Ross, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
