The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Chad Campbell and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Browning doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Browning takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Browning has his takedown stuffed
and Ross makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Some wild striking there from Ross.
Browning tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ross paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Ross connects with a looping right hand.
Ross swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Browning tries for a takedown but Ross circles away easily
and Ross counters with a series of strikes. Browning will be more careful next time no doubt.
Barney Ross has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Browning.
Ross lands a left and a right that send Browning crashing to the mat, dazed. Ross thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Browning is rocked!
Browning is trying desperately to land a takedown but Ross is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Browning.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

BAM! Ross delivers a spinning backfist that drops Browning like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!
