Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Omtea Sailo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Devon Durelle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Omtea Sailo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Devon Durelle! The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Chad Campbell and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Durelle throws a leg kick that misses. Durelle finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Sailo closes the distance and clinches up with Durelle, looking for a takedown. Sailo pushes Durelle against the cage but Durelle circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Sailo fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Sailo tries to clinch but Durelle moves out of range. Durelle ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Durelle jabs at Sailo's body. Durelle changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Durelle throws a sloppy head kick and Sailo moves out of range easily. Devon Durelle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Durelle throws a wild body kick that Sailo sees coming a mile off. Sailo shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Durelle pinned against the cage. Durelle gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Omtea Sailo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Danga de danga de dang - Durelle scores with a four punch combination! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Durelle goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Durelle connects with a body shot. Durelle tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Durelle tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Durelle is looking to land body kicks. Durelle misses with an attempted mid kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Durelle connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Sailo takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Sailo misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Sailo misses with a low kick.
Sailo shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Durelle as he avoids it easily. Sailo is breathing heavily. Nice uppercut there from Durelle. Durelle throws a nice looking combination but Sailo bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Durelle blocks a head kick by Sailo.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Sailo closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Durelle did well to prevent Sailo getting side control. Sailo stops Durelle from getting back to his feet.
Durelle really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sailo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Sailo trying to mount his opponent but Durelle defends it. Sailo working the head and body with strikes. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Durelle can do anything to dispel that myth. Durelle tries to kick Sailo off but Sailo keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Durelle keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Sailo not landing any meaningful shots this time. Sailo working over Durelle with some ground and pound. Durelle looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Sailo scoring with strikes to the body and head. Sailo decides to return to a standing position. Sailo tries to clinch up. Durelle tries to land a front kick but Sailo steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Sailo throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Sailo tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Durelle swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Sailo moves out of range of the body kick. Sailo blocks a head kick by Durelle.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sailo closes the distance and clinches up with Durelle, looking for a takedown. Sailo pushes Durelle against the cage but Durelle circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Sailo shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Durelle pinned against the cage. Durelle gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Durelle dips to his left and cracks Sailo with an uppercut! Durelle throws a right hand that Sailo ducks under and follows up with a left that Sailo also avoids with ease. Sailo closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Sailo lands in his opponent's guard. Sailo postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Sailo trying to control the position from guard on top but Durelle is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Sailo in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Sailo's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Sailo with a nice head shot there. Sailo wants to control from the top but Durelle keeps moving. Sailo throwing strikes but missing. Durelle wants to stand but Sailo is controlling the position. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Sailo with a flurry of punches that miss. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Devon Durelle dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Durelle misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Omtea Sailo is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Excellent takedown into side control there by Sailo. Sailo wants to control but Durelle is keeping him busy. Durelle is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Sailo has just dragged him back down to the mat. Sailo lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Durelle wants to get back to his feet but Sailo drags him back down. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sailo has knee on belly and moves into mount. Sailo raining down hammerfists from mount. Durelle is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Durelle is bucking up trying to escape but Sailo cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Sailo looking to finish Durelle with some ground and pound. This is bad for Durelle! Durelle is squirming around, avoiding Sailo's attempts to control the action. Sailo with a couple of short strikes. Sailo looking to control but Durelle is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Sailo lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Sailo working away from the top, dropping strikes. This has been an exciting period of action! Durelle takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Durelle is squirming around, avoiding Sailo's attempts to control the action. Omtea Sailo overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. BOOM! Sailo connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Sailo has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Durelle is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Sailo landing shots from mount. Durelle is squirming around, avoiding Sailo's attempts to control the action. Durelle is in a horrible position here. Sailo smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sailo is working for a guillotine from mount but Durelle frees his head quite easily.

Durelle is rocked! Sailo connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Durelle is still in real trouble! Can Sailo finish him? The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Durelle is squirming around, avoiding Sailo's attempts to control the action. Sailo is landing with some decent strikes but Durelle is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Durelle takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Sailo's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
