Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Skeet Reece (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Yochanan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yochanan has chosen Know your Enemy as his entrance music. David Yochanan has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Skeet Reece! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, David Yochanan! The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Roger Salmon and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reece lands with a cross. Yochanan staying out of range there. Reece is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Yochanan. Yochanan closes the distance and clinches up with Reece, looking for a takedown. Yochanan pushes Reece against the cage but Reece circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Yochanan looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Reece! Yochanan trying to control but he's not successful this time. Yochanan is working for a guillotine from mount but Reece frees his head quite easily.
Yochanan wants to control the pace but Reece is squirming around nicely. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Yochanan thowing shots but they're missing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yochanan throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Yochanan is trying to control here but Reece has managed to regain half guard.
Yochanan seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Yochanan looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Reece is refusing to be controlled, as Yochanan sits in half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Reece is defending against the submission attempts here by Yochanan.
Yochanan thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Reece is trying to stand back up but Yochanan is controlling him
Yochanan misses with a head shot. Reece uses the momentum to regain guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Reece is working an open guard so Yochanan takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Nice uppercut there from Reece. Yochanan shoots in for a double leg but Reece sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Reece connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Yochanan shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Reece sprawls well. Reece wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Yochanan gets slowly back to his feet. Skeet Reece has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of David Yochanan. Yochanan drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Yochanan shoots in looking for a takedown but Reece manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Yochanan's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Reece avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Yochanan misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Reece scores with the left hand. Yochanan knows he should have avoided that one. A big left from Reece misses. Yochanan uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Reece. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Reece!
Nice jab there from Reece. Reece swings for the body but Yochanan moves out of range.
Yochanan shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Reece as he jumps to the side. Reece tests Yochanan's chin there with a solid looking shot. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! A jab from Reece finds it's way through Yochanan's defenses. The fight stays on the outside here - Yochanan looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Reece dips down and scores with a jab to the body. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Skeet Reece dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Yochanan shoots in for a double leg but Reece sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Reece throws a lazy uppercut
and Yochanan counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Reece is lucky that one didn't land flush. Reece takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Reece is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Reece misses the jab. Yochanan fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Reece misses with a series of wild punches.
Yochanan tries for a takedown but Reece sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Skeet Reece has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of David Yochanan. Yochanan tries to score a power double leg takedown but Reece sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Yochanan somewhat. Yochanan avoids the body shot from Reece.
Yochanan tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Reece paws at him with a jab and circles away. Reece connects with a right hand. Yochanan shakes it off. This has been an exciting period of action! Yochanan shoots in looking for a takedown. Reece tries to sprawl out of it but Yochanan keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Reece manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Horrible takedown by Yochanan or perhaps it was just good defense by Reece which made him look bad. Yochanan is breathing heavily. Reece tries to bum rush Yochanan with a series of wild strikes but Yochanan uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Yochanan ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Yochanan shoots in but Reece avoids the takedown attempt easily. Reece throws a jab when Yochanan was well out of range. Reece lands a right hook to the body.
Yochanan takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Yochanan dives in and grabs Reece's left leg, looking for a takedown. Reece pushes down on Yochanan's head and hops out. Reece fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Yochanan looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Reece connects with a body shot that sends Yochanan's belly button to the back. Yochanan ducks right into an uppercut from Reece. Decent striking displayed by Reece there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Reece thows a left - swing and a miss! Reece feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Yochanan sprawling to the canvas! Yochanan rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Reece finish him?!
Yochanan is rocked! Reece circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Yochanan tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Reece wins by KO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:17 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Skeet Reece!
